The person who invites always pays for the tickets. So, the woman pays for the tickets.

Usually charity events ask for more than what you usually would pay for a meal or concert, etc... because it's for charity.

In most cases, I would say the woman would pay because she asked, but in this case, since it may be more than usual, I would make sure the woman tells the man upfront if he is expected to pay for his share or not. I would not make the guy pay for both.

Depending on how the question was raised. If she calls him up and says hey want to got to...(then the woman) versus being in a casual setting and the charity was being spoken about and he mentions he is interested and she asked him if he wanted to go with her... (then to each his own) but I definitely ask him/her if you should pick up the tickets or if he/she is going to get them. That way you leave it open!!
hope this helps

That all depends on the relationship. Sometimes you can treat or if you feel uneasy with that --split it-go "dutch". Traditionally the man should pay--that is "old school" but that is not always the case.

She asked so she pays. The male should pay for any other expenses for the evening.
