Magneto vs. Iceman. Who would win and why.?

I would say this would depend on the battlefield, but most likely, Magneto would win. Now that Iceman's body is completely composed of organic ice, he may not have any iron in his body for Magneto to use against him. So, if the battlefield had lots of metallic objects for Magneto to use, he would most likely win. Of course, if you had them facing off in a polar region with no ferrous metallic objects around for miles, Iceman might pull it off in that scenario. In fact, I think Iceman has beaten Magneto by himself before, but not easily.

Easy Magneto has it down with no comp. There are many reasons why he would be victorious... Age - he may be old but with age comes exp. He would think of a counter to anything that Iceman would throw at him. And come on now... of course Magneto doesn't really have to use his power... He is a great leader and would find someone to use... Against Iceman of course he would use Pyro (X3) but not only would he use someone else... the battlefield would be his advantage. I doubt Iceman or any other person would be smart enough to really trap Magneto in a place where his powers would be no use. From the beginning of the comics Magneto has been renowed for being clever and undeniably a step ahead of everyone else; he would sense a trap in no time. He would actually trap Iceman somehow and crush him... I really don't have to keep going... I am actually a bit tired of writing so much and I'm sure with what I have so far, there is no debating the true out come of any battle.... c'mon now...

No holds barred... Iceman
It's close but I think Iceman's powers would work faster. He could literally freeze Magneto's brain solid, create a super dense ice bat and, with one strong hit to the head, shatter his brain. Magneto may be able to slow or even stop Bobby Drake's blood flow but Iceman could react and simply kill Magneto before it would do any real damage. Even if Magneto were to build up the small amount of Iron in Bobby's body and use it as an internal weapon to attack Bobby's brain the amount of concentration it would take would take too long. Iceman can also turn his body into a form of sentient ice (he did so for the entire Age of Apocalypse storyline) making him impervious to physical harm and I'm not sure if you've ever tried it but try and attract an icecube with a magnet. If Iceman were to realize his full potential, he would be a powerhouse among powerhouses¹. He could simultaneously take out an entire army in a second. He doesn't just make things cold, he freezes moisture and any human is 70% water. It would take a psychic or similarly powered fire/heat based attack to kill him.

Magneto is a physical avatar of a primal force of the universe, while iceman is an omega-level mutant with the ability to defy the laws of thermodynamics. No matter how cold iceman can make mags, Mags can just warm himself up with infrared (which is part of the electromagnetic spectrum, and therefore can be controlled by Mags). Then, Mags can shatter iceman with diamagnetism, because when iceman is using his ability, he is transformed into ice, and ice is purely diamagnetic.

This one is more par. I think powerlevels they are equal. But Magneto would kill or at least attempt to seriously hurt Bobby before Iceman could do anything. They both could drop the other in a second, but skill, determination, and experience of Magus would make him the victor, but Mags woudl not be able to continue in any fight.
