it's not just the smell of burning brakes. its more like the smell that comes from peeling out. i love that. there's not much difference, they're just under different circumstances. if i smell burning brakes when im driving, it kind of alarms me. but smell of tires off the line... its amazing.

its exciting all right - going down a 7% 5 mile grade with 44,000 lbs on your big truck and you smell burning brakes - ohoh!

excited? Wow..well I bet you like glue, sharpies & gasoline. Burning breaks usually means that your gonna have to buy some new ones or your brakes are gonna give out...when I smell it...i hear "Ka-ching"
