Put something that smells really good to them in a pocket or in the ball return (depending on the kind of pool table) I would even try to get a live trap that's narrow enough to fit in the ball return. if not... You'll have to stand there and watch so you can grab the little guy before he runs back in to the shoot....
If this doesn't work... have you ever seen the last episode of Friends? The baby chick got stuck in the fooseball table and well... they had to dismantle the table to get the little fella out... LOL good luck!

Lure it with food. Any kind of food that is edible for hamsters. They will come as soon as they get hungry.

A bucket/pail... cheese or small grapes..(food) .. couple of books to "build" a ladder leading into the pail.... they love to crawl and have a very keen sense of smell... therefore... smell the food, climb for it, fall into the pail and cannot climb out... wha-laa.. but don't forget the poor hammie and leave him/her there....

put a snake in there an as soon as he makes his strike pull him out of the pocket and then pull your hamster out of his mouth

Check to see if the bottom has a removable inspection/ball retrieval panel. remove and lure with food

We get runaway rats with peanutbutter lure however if this dosen't work get out the shop vac!

get a water hose and stick it through the thing and try to trap it somehow?? hopefully that works. good luck......oh and how did it get in there in the first place??
