I would most definitely say you just have an imagination. I see things when I'm driving late at night as well. You're tired, therefore slipping into your subconscious. You are more aware of certain things while in your subconscious. Your mind is more in touch with reality, if that makes sense. It's easier to get in touch with certain parts of your psyche. Therefore, you are dreaming while you are awake and it seems more real.

This is normal. Sometimes when you are in the first stages of sleeps (You feel awake but partially asleep), your brain will start producing dream like images. Some psychologists think this is because there is not enough or too much stimulation going on during your normal day. Try eating an apple or drinking 8 ounces of milk. There are chemicals in these foods that help promote more pleasant dreams and may help lessen some of those disturbing images.

Some people just get imaginative at night! Still, If you fear your case is not normal you should probably go a psychiatrist for a check-up. That way you'll know for sure and if it' normal you won't freak out with those things anymore but if it isn't normal you could get treated and avoid futur problems

I think you just have an overactive imagination. I have a similar problem like your's, but i hear things, not see them. Like i can hear footsteps and someone in the shower, but no one is really there. I think you just have to either ignore it, or maybe have someone (like a brother / sister) sleep in the same room. (Not the same bed... I know what your thinking...) So if you do see/hear something, you can ask them if it's really there.

Maybe your house is haunted, or your eyes are just tired or you have mental problems. I think that about covers it, unless there really are bug, people and shadows in your room.

It could be a lot of things...hallucinations, sleep deprivation, dreams, etc. But in any case I don't think it classifies you as crazy.

That could happen if you have extreme long term stress. Like in your marriage. You're not crazy.

You're probably just day dreaming because you're tired.
