January 18th 2005 at 11.20pm until 11.45am.
I sat with, held, comforted, wiped the **** of, shaved, cried with, philosophized with anold man of 99 years of age as he spent his last 12 hours on this earth. I walked him right up to the door of death and held the carcass of his body as his soul drifted onto other things. If i ever needed strength it was then and it re-shaped me for the better in every way. Everything i did and said that night were perfect for him to hear and have. I had known him for for 6 months and we were good, close friends. Now, if an angel wasn't watching over me then i know one is now in the form of James. And my soul mission in this life, whatever walk or way it takes is to be an angel to as many as i can, no matter the pain or the loneliness. Its a sad story but you did ask.

there are several times in my life that i've been touched by the divine. once through a car crash, once in a club (that one turned my life around), once in a casino (don't ask), but the single most important time was with my daughter...
i was in labor and i was all alone. i had to drive myself to the hospital in the midst of regular contractions (every five minutes) i got behind the wheel, said a short prayer, and drove the 30 minutes to the hospital. there was no traffic, and i had no contractions until i was well in the view of other people. then i had one that knocked me on my knees. an orderly came and got me, and from there we were okay. if there wasn't an angel with us that day, i don't know what was. but i am still very thankful for their presence and love.

Can't really be particular about a "moment" because I really believe Angels constently watch over us and try very hard to guide us. If there are several Angels who watch over me, I don't wish to imply partiality to a particular one. (You know) :)

the time I got into a head on collision with a large truck, completely totalled my car but I got out and walked away unharmed. I couldn't believe I wasn't hurt when I looked at the mangled wreck that was my car.

when i was in a car wreck. the tire blewout at 133 mph. we spun for 80 ft, were airborn for 50 ft, and rolled for 60 ft. we were in my convertible and the top came off and we were thrown out. it was night and very dark on a rural highway. i was out because of a concusion, but my friend couldn't see anything until my cell phone rang and lit up. she got it and called 911. when i came to a couple days later, they told me the story and gave me my cell phone so i could see who called, but there was no call on that day at that time. i started crying and i knew my grandmother was watching over me.
