The Princess Bride... Fun for all ages...incredibly funny...won't cause you to have nightmares...won't bore you to sleep....and it's on cable about once or twice a month!
Actually, I think there is a Princess Bride movie cult forming, for those that watch it often. I'm up to around 25 times. I Know much of the dialog by heart.

Brokeback Mountain.
Because it was almost flawless - the acting, direction, cinematography, soundtrack, storyline, etc were all done perfectly!
It was a subtle, angsty, and stunningly beautiful.
We can all hope that we find a love so deep and strong in our lives that was portrayed in this film.
