were we meant to be with the first person or the second. was it destiny for the our first love to die so that we would end up with the second? is all of this part of a bigger plan? is there only one person for each of us to be with and if we miss that person will be alone forever? are there really soulmates and if there are is our soulmate the one that we should be romantically linked to? or could possibly your soul mate be a best friend a non-romantic?

there is no such thing as being destined for one person. People evolve all the time and at different times due to life experiences, upbringing, environment, social status, religious beliefs, relationships and all sorts of things. No two people are on the same exact path at the same exact time. It becomes about defining your core values and making a choice to be with a partner who shares as many as those important core values as possible. Then the choice becomes whether or not you remain with that person should they evolve or you evolve at different levels and at different times. If there is a death in a relationship, again, it becomes about a choice of whether or not you want to be with someone else or remain alone.

There is no such thing as a soul mate. It is about shared values and interests. One can think they are with a sould mate for 30 years and then find out that for 8 of those years, an affair was going on. You just never know. The best thing to do is to always have your own life, your own interests, your own sense of being and never rely on another person to define your core. You define your core and someone else merely enhances it if you've made a wise choice. :)

I think you could restate it.

"there is only one person in the world at this time"

God provides for our needs if you take care and something happens God will provide for your future.

Good Luck and God Bless!!
