Maybe he is in a club and they have to wear something "KOOL" lol are maybe he is trying to impress a gurl maybe he has a bunch of those shirts.U never know til u ask him.

he could have more than one shirt, he could just not take a bath, it might be his favorite shirt, or you might just only see him whenever he wears that shirt. than again, what do i know, why don't you ask him yourself or his parents.
