i'm not a techno freak, but i guess it's called a flat panel or something like that. but it's really sensitive to touch and most any touch could leave a permanent damage mark on it. there's a couple dirt spots on it though and i don't know know i would clean it w/o hurting the moniter.

good question.

being that i have a flat screen lcd, this is what you should do.
Take a very soft cloth or piece of tissue paper, and wipe the dust very gently off the screen.

DONT use Windex etc.. as there is a chemical coating on the screen to reduce glare. Use soft cloth, tissue moistened and rub gently

Use a Q-tip and rubbing alcohol. i come across this works on all my digital contraptions, because it evaporates immediately adequate now to not reason any damage (see you later as you pour the rubbing alcohol on the Q-tip, indirectly on the article) and eliminates dirt, dirt, pen, everlasting marker, quite a few different issues, and may also sparkling the contacts on such issues as older on-line recreation platforms and different products.

I use a soft cloth and a homemade mixture of Isopropyl alcohol and water - one part each.
