women who get upset when their man talks to another woman thinks that he is disrespecting her, but he is not. The girlfriend needs to realize that the bf is not dead, and still needs to converse with people even if that person is female. I am a female and know what it is like to think I need to compete with other women for my man, but........ if I want to keep my man, I cannot have him on a leash, and I would not expect to be on one. I do not get upset when my husband talks to another female, I think it is healthy to do so, even if he is flirting, but not the kind of flirting where he means to take her home with him or meet up with her. There is a certain kind of flirting that is meant to be just that, and the kind that means, HEY< WANNA HAVE SEX WITH ME? So, I know the difference, and I do not get upset, but.... I used to and I realized that there is nothing I can do If he wants to talk to somebody else, the only thing I can do is join in on the conversation.

It's in our nature. I don't know about other women but I wouldn't be able to take the heart break if my guy left me for some one else. We can also read flirting signs really well. And if the other girl is prettier than me then that would be major competition. I guess i don't mind if my boyfriend talks to other girls but if i find out that there is something goin on then that ***** better get some glass eyes cuz i'm gonna scratch her real ones out.

I know, just because every time I start talking to other women I end up knee-deep in doggystyle sex or in an indistinguishable pile of breasts,***, hair, and limbs-my girlfriend gets all jealous. I can't help it if girls are crazy horny all the time. Seriously I think girls need and want sexin' more than men. Prolly cuz most guys are douches so they have to hold out so long for the real lovin...

It's an insecurity thing. They are afraid the other women are going to compete for the guy's attention. It should decrease as/if the relationship continues and the girl learns she can trust the guy.

well some women are just like that. i am married and i would flip the hanger if i caugt my husband talking to another woman. i am muslim too so i find it disrepectful. it is all about pocessiveness i guess u would have to say. hes mine and thats it. the same goes for me though i do not talk to other men. if one of us are presence with the other one then if we are talking to a member of the oppostite sex it is strictly for a business related topic. as you know when given the oppurtunity to speak with some one of the opposite sex sometimes the other person can not help but feel attracted to them. which leaves room for flirting. amongst other things. in america more then 50% of marriages end in divorce. this is a fact. people tend to not take their marriage vows seriously like they should which can be seen through such a high divorce rate. so if you limit your talking to just your spouce you will not have the oppurtunity to cheat unless u decide it is over with that person in which case u will not be cheating. security has a lot to do with it. some women just want to be prideful and perclaim they are confident with themselves but even the most beautiful women on the planet end up getting husbands that cheat on them. so in essence yes to the above questions except for am i afraid of loosing him. i feel this way if i could loose him then he was never mine in the first place and i never lost anything anyways.

Talking about other women is a tool for control in a relationship. Whether you admit that to yourself of not, women know it. It is considered a dirty tactic, much like when women deny intimacy as a form of control. Your girlfriend is upset that 1) your relationship has degraded to the point of control games, 2) you're willing to stoop to such low levels to control her, and possibly 3) you aren't smart enough to realize what you're doing.

Some women do - just the same as some men do when put in the same situation with their woman talking to another man. Some people are jealous and/or insecure. Some people are just CONTROL FREAKS!

well, this is about insecurity and self confidence. Even when you think that you are confidence enough, the feeling of insecurity is ready to creeping around. Women, as well as men, will be upseted too because they feel they are compared toward the men/women we are talking to, even we don't mean about it. The sense of belonging cracked when our boyfriend/girlfriend talk to opposite sex.

LOL! B/c we're jealous, but not only women do this...men do it to. Well, when their women talk to other men...they'd love it if they talked to other women! If you don't let your other half talk to the opposite sex, then you don't have to worry about them going anywhere, b/c they don't know anyone!Being a little jealous should be taken as a compliment, it means they care a lot about you. A little jealousy is cute, but if it's overdone, then you could end up pushing them away.
