My ex-boyfriend is in jail and I want to write to him, but he treated me like I didnot matter toward the end of our relationship. I mean he wouldnot pick up the phone when i called nor did pay me a lot of attention. I just feel by writing i will be giving off the wrong idea or he may not even want me to write. And yea we were suppose to be in love. I still love him but i don't want to get invovled anymore.

Here is the thing. If he is in jail, then he will want you to write because he doesn't have much else to do. I understand you still love this man, but if you seriously want to not get involved anymore, then it's better for you to not write him because things could get messy.
Don't write him. It's better that way. It's already going to be hard enough when he gets out if he tries to contact you so leave it alone for now and do what you need to do to get yourself together.

I think a guy that acts like that does not deserve your time. If I were you, I would not carry on a relationship with him while he is in there. If he gets out and shows that he can change, then give him another chance. It is REALLY easy for him to act loving towards you while he is in there, because he needs someone to wait for him. Be careful!

You deserve better. He knows this also, that's probably one of the reasons, he treated you badly toward the end of the relationship. So that you would move on and find that someone better! I know it's so hard when you love someone, but you could be so much happier with someone who deserves your love. Good Luck!!!

If you don't want to get involved any more, then don't write to him.
I don't know what he did to land himself in jail, and that's none of my business, but I would take it as a hint that he wouldn't want me to contact him if he wouldn't pick up the phone when you called him.

Maybe you should wait a while, then send a card just to say "HI, hope you're doing well" and in the meantime, move along with your life. There are plenty of fish in the sea and it sounds like you deserve better than him.

Then don't write to him. Just because he landed himself in jail doesn't mean you have to write to him cause you feel sorry for him. Move on and do whats best for you.

Just dump him. Stop winning like a baby. Act mature. You should be the one with nothing to do with him. Let it go, find someone else. Be happy, or are you a masoquist? Do you like to suffer?
If so, wait until he is released, and be prepared to be abused.

I don't think you should write him. He obviously don't care about you like you said, so I wouldn't waste your time. I would move forward and find someone that loves you in return.
