If you had unprotected sex, of course you could be pregnant. You wouldn't gain weight this quickly due to pregnancy, that's probably from overeating cause you're nervous. Are you more tired than usual? Do your breasts hurt? Take a test and if it's positive, see a doctor right away - you need folic acid & prenatals to make sure that baby is healthy! I know it's scary - I went through this last April and my little girl is the best surprise I've ever had. I say surprise, not accident cause an accident is something you would avoid if you could do it all over again! I hope it works out for you hon.

yes it is possible that you can be pregnant. Some people spot the first few months of pregnancy and some do not, some even have a full period. The spotting is caused by the engagement of the fertilized egg which cause a little bleeding some times

All of your symptoms, including missed period, point to pregnancy. Furthermore, "implantation" spotting in early pregnancy is very common. It sounds like you are conflicted about whether or not you want to be pregnant, which I'm guessing is why you haven't tested yet. Also, the tests are very expensive, although I found them cheap(ish) at Target.

Good luck - I hope whatever answer you get, you feel okay about. And I hope you have people in your life to talk to about what it might mean for you to be pregnant.

Maybe you are having a 'false' pregnancy. There are mimics in every area of life and false positives occur. Based on the looks of my niece, I should have been an aunt of twins or triplets since September 2005; but she is not pregnant. She looked that big. Nature is tricky; and our body is sensitive. Something is going on and you have to sort it out. I suspect that you are not pregnant and even if you do a test it will be false positive. Nevertheless, if your mind says to take a test or see a doctor, listen to your heart.

A pregnancy is a possibility, but it isn't the only "condition" that causes spotting instead of perios or morning sickness, headaches, etc... So It is important for you to take the test. If it turns positive, you're probably pregnant, If it doesn't you should probably go to a doctor

You could be... or you could just be so nervous of the thought of being pregnant... that you could have all the symptoms and not be... If you are, congratulations :-)

Why don't you take the test and celebrate the good news with your boyfriend?

I dreamed all my life of having kids but I never met the right man and now, I'm turning 38 this fall and I gave up on this idea. Enjoy every moment of your pregnancy.

Yes it is a possibility. It is also possible that it could be something else like stress. Please go to the doctor and get checked. I know that the truth can be scary if you are not ready to be a mother, but it is best to find out as soon as possible. Get a home pregnancy test just to set your mind at ease then see a doctor as soon as possible. Good luck, I hope things turn out the way you want.

Sounds very very likely. Take the test. You need to get on your prenatals and take care of yourself. The first 12 wks are the most important. The little spotting was probably baby implanting. I had that and found out I was prego 1 wk later.

Well....First of all if you had unprotected sex, there is a high possibility. The only way you'll know for sure is if you go to a clinic or run out to the store to buy a pregnancy test. I was scared to death when I got pregnant, I wasn't married, I didn't have a degree, etc. The only way you'll feel somewhat relieved is if you know for sure. Good luck!!
