i need some controversial topics regarding anorexia nervosa.

i was thinking about how families are affected with this illness but i'm not sure .

i'm lost, need some ideas pleaseeeeeeee

I agree with the previous answers, but think it is most profoundly seen in ballerinas. They not only have to be athletic, but also have the figure of the stereotype. I have heard that their bodies are under so much stress that they stop functioning normally (like people with anorexia)--Constant periods, absence of periods, etc. This is a gateway sign for more serious health conditions. I recently saw an episode of Grey's Anatomy, where the weight disorder girl spent a holiday in Mexico and got an illegal stomach reduction process. This young lady, who maybe had 5 lbs to spare ruined the rest of her life.

Try anorexia in girls sports such as cheer-leading, gymnastics and boxing where being light gives an advantage.

How families are affected, health concerns (heart, teeth erosion), how society promotes thinness, peer pressures, celebrities who are way too thin, recovery times and prospects of success. Good luck.
