I need to email my guy friend now and tell him I like him. Please help?

See I have been writing to my friend ever since we were seven and he moved away on the other sided of the US. But these past 2 YEARS (now we're 17) I've liked him almost to the point where it's putting a pause on my life and I can't keep it a secret any longer. I really don't expect him to return my feelings, but I hpe it won't ruin our friendship too much. Either way I have to and I'm going to do it. We only conversate by email and IM really, so this is how I have to do it. How should I tell him, I just want to get it overwith, nothing cute or anythin. Just need to hear directly from him that it could never work out. Please help me?

TELL HIM THAT OVER THE YEARS YOUR FEELINGS FOR HIM HAS CHANGED AND YOU WANT TO BE MORE THAN JUST FRIENDS. ALSO TELL HIM IF HE DOESNT FEEL THE SAME WAY THAT YOU STILL WANT TO BE HIS FRIEND BUT YOU COULDNT GO ON JUST HIDING THE WAY YOU FELT ABOUT HIM AND YOU JUST WANTED HIM TO KNOW AND YOU WILL NOT CHANGE TOWARDS HIM IN ANY WAY IF HE DOESNT FEEL THE SAME.

is it possible to link a web-cam or something so you guys can converse 'face-to-face'? i totally understand you're feelings of needing to tell him...i just don't think conversing over IM and email is the best thing. you also need to keep in mind that you haven't seen the guy in two years, lots of things could've changed. you really don't want to tell him over IM or email because he may not believe you. but like you said, this is the only way you can do this. just make you're letter as sincere as possible telling him this is just to let him know how you feel and nothing has to come out of it if either of you don't want to.

tell him you have a crush on someone and make him quess who and then when he finally quesses himself say yes is that ok.
