For me personally, I would want to have sex with a girl before marriage just to see how it goes. If the sex is bad then why get married? I think that whole wait till you get married is blown way out of context. Use protection while doing it. It can't hurt. I think you should be alowed to have sex any time you want to. Why punish your self and wait till you get married?

I'm not really sure when I'm gonna do it. I am paranoid it will hurt and stuff so that is one reason. I don't know if I'll do it when I'm married because some marriages don't even last, or you never know what may happen tommorrow lol. I'll do it when I know the time is right and when I'm with the right person. I'm not going to just run outside and try to get a boyfriend or try to have sex

I agree with you. I'm against sex before marriage for religious reasons.
1 Corinthians 6:9 ["Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexual offenders..."
Also see...Ephesians 5:3-5; 1 Thessalonians 4:1-8; Deuteronomy 22:13ff
I think God makes himself pretty clear about this topic.

I think people aren't waiting anymore because they see that other people aren't waiting. I'm in no rush, but I'm not saving myself either. I'm just waiting for the right time I guess. And it's possible that my right time may be once I'm married.

It's too accepted in todays world. :(

I waited as well as my dh. He was 24 and I was 20 when we married. I'm so happy that we waited for each other, and have that special bond that we have only shared with each other.

Be proud of the fact that you hold yourself to a higher standard then the average person.

It will be worth it in the long run, you can only loose your virginity once.

I'm a Muslim and we believe in waiting until after marraige. I have no judgments against those who choose not to wait, but I'm going to do what I feel is best for me, and that means waiting.

Why have you made such an idol out of virginity?

Why do you think it is so important to be a virgin?

Personally I was releaved when I got my cherry poped... what a relief!

But hey - it is your life to miss out on.

I'm definitely saving it for marriage. Once you give it away, you can't get it back, and I'm definitely NOT going to give it to anyone other than my future husband, whoever that's going to be.
