yes it is very possible! My daughter had them until around age 5 when we finally figured out she had low blood sugar. So we watched her diet very close and now she seldom gets a headache at all. Although sensitivity to bright lights and loud noise are symptoms of a migraine. If he was truly suffering from a migraine he most likely would be screaming from the pain!

Yes. My son suffered migraines as a small child. I thought he was making it up because I could not imagine a child knowing what a headache was. I figured it was a story to get the great grape flavored Tylenol. But after a few episodes of him hiding under a pillow to avoid the light, and having nausea from the pain, I took him to the doc and found out children can get migraines. They have a very simple treatment for it and he eventually outgrew it in a short time....about 6 months.

It is possible. My daughter started getting them at 5. They ran some tests and did a ct on her head, fortunately they found nothing wrong. Just one of the wonderful things I have passed on. Headaches are quite common in children, even migraines are not uncommon, unfortunately theres not a lot you can do. Some children though are just sensitive to bright light and loud sound, I can't remember the name of the condition, you should definitely talk with your pediatrician.

Absolutely! I had migraines from the age 2. Doctors did a CT scan to be sure there was no tumor, then checked various other things before they just ruled that it was a migraine. But mostly I was treated for the nausea that went with it, which usually got rid of the migraine.
But call the doctor.

My best friend has a 2 year old son and most times that he wakes up from his nap he grabs his head and cries, when brought to the dr they determined he gets really bad headaches. So as sad as it is, little ones can get migraines.

He might just be hypersensitive. If it were migraines he would probably be complaining more about his head or stomach. Youngsters are often more sensitive to light and sound than adults are. If you are still concerned go ahead and call the doc, but I wouldnt be too worried.
Best wishes!

Definitely check with the pediatrician. If you still don't get good answers, there are some great headache specialists. Some might practice as neurologists or internists. Check with a large academic teaching hospital if you have one near you.

Yes, it is possible... I honestly did not know this until I read your question and researched it. I don't think it is all that common though. I didn't start having migraines until I was about 12 yrs old.

Yes, it is possible. Migraines are usually the cause of constriction of the blood vessles in the brain. I suggest that you seek the advice of a doctor in this one. It could be migraines, but it could be something else - possibly something more serious.

Dumb question, It doesn't matter what age you are, everyone can be susseptable to migraines. This is particularly true for those individuals with epilepse. I'd suggest taking to the docter and having him run a MRI. Okeyday!
