Im getting a little tired of a the amount of religious people (and other homophobes) who come in here to tell us that what we are doing is against god's will etc etc etc...

but what i do find rather humerous is the amount of people who are in here bashing the gay AND straight people asking and answering these questions.

A few words in a sentance is not going to 'save' us or stop us from living our lives, so why bother? yes, i understand that many religions do not agree with homosexuality, so what, get over it? i havnt done anything to harm you so why judge me on a belief that you were taught (so therefore is somebody elses?)

I think ego plays a role for some, because they want to be known as someone who "cured" homosexuals for God and at the same time "saved" as many souls as possible. Some people believe that if they can end homosexuality in one way or another, they will demonstrate their "holiness".
Take comfort in the fact that true holiness, according to the New Testament, is not about putting on a show of righteousness but by humility. Don't sweat the blowhards; they're not true Christians, but just pretending to be Christians in order to impress everyone.

I have you beat...I am tired of a lot of the bigots and homophobes I see here daily..not only in this section, but in all the sections. Is it any wonder that Christianity has such a bad name? All because of these idiots who think of themselves as ''Saved" and holier than thou. I am amused at their "Personal relationship with God," the "Read the Bible," (seems to be a favorite here, doesn't it?) and so on and so forth. Judging from the amount of misery I see here in these "straights," I am bewildered at how they can sit in judgement of anyone...they have not a clue as to life, harmony, and happiness. Perhaps they just want everyone to be a unhappy as they are...who knows? I do know that the bashers are really a pitiful bunch who are so filled with hate, not only towards Gays, but towards everyone else.

In a nutshell, my friend, misery loves company. Meditate on this statement and you will find it to be totally true. People who are deep down miserable(and it is SO deep down they will utterly and completely deny it)need to "convert" other people to their messed up way of life, so they can feel that they are not in it alone. All this babbling rhetoric of some of these answerers, I mean, come on, they aren't even SEEING the questions, only automatically condemning and finger-pointing over and over. They are asleep. Asleep and brainwashed. You really have to let their ignorant words be like water off of a ducks' back. They really have nothing to do with you. They cannot think for themselves, so there is no reason their mindless words should be getting to you.

I agree with you. There is a lot of hatred and discrimination floating around in Yahoo Answers, but I think of this forum as a kind of debate where everyone presents their points of view and then you have the opportunity for a rebuttal. I think it's a great place to learn and to educate others. By posing your question today, you have inspired many readers to think and to consider your point of view. It is important for you to use Yahoo Q&A as a tool to educate the world about homosexuality and to dispel some of the myths that surround it.

I don`t look at the other answers as a rule before I answer,so i don`t yet know what Keven said.
Those who try and tell some one about the Lord are only doing what Jesus said to do ,go out and preach to all nations.
I`m straight, but your way of life or for that matter anyones isn`t mind to judge.I hope I live what I believe and strive everyday to do better, not always successeding, but strifing for a better understanding.

They don't want to "save" us they want to change what they don't understand. It's sad. Many people fear what they don't understand. And these people don't understand love.

A good example is from a movie out not called "X-Men 3" where the ignorant people want to "cure" the people that are different from them. Strom tells them, "There is nothing to cure because there is nothing wrong with us, any of us."

thrilling question you asked in the present day Kayleigh. i assume i will in no way particularly be responsive to for useful till it the place to truly take place. even however my Siberian Husky is friendly with every person i won't be able to make certain that she will never attempt to attack somebody in that difficulty with the aid of fact that she has in no way been uncovered to it. On uncommon events I do see some prevalent friendly domicile pets save their relatives from intruders, yet majority of friendly domicile dogs might the two run away scared or show off their friendly area with some licks. till I had a human aggressive dogs or had offered a professionally knowledgeable risk-free practices dogs i will in no way assure that my dogs will defend me, and particularly that may no longer what I assume from my dogs, that is my interest to guard her and the the remainder of my relatives.

I AM NOT A "HOMOPHOBE" NOR AM I A "GAY BASHER"

BUT YOU ASKED WHY RELIGIOUS PEOPLE ARE IN HERE TRYING TO "SAVE" YOU.

THE ANSWER IS BECAUSE IT IS OUT DUTY AS A CHRISTIAN. IT IS OUR CALLING BUT GOD TO SPREAD HIS WORD TO THE TROUBLED. WE DO IT OUT OF LOVE, NOT HATE. I DO NOT HATE GAY PEOPLE, I HAVE MANY GAY FRIENDS, I JUST SIMPLY TRY TO SHOW THEM THE WAY TO SALVATION. WHILE RELIGION IS A BELIEF AND PEOPLE ARE FREE TO BELIEFE THE WAY THEY WANT, IT IS STILL THE DUTY OF HOES WHO DO BELIEVE TO MINISTER TO OTHERS.

IT IS MY DUTY AS A CHRISTIAN TO MINISTER AND SHARE THE WORD OF GOD, THAT IS WHY I AM HERE. AND IF WHAT I TYPE HELPS EVEN ONE PERSON ON THIS SITE THEN MY JOB IS JUSTIFIED.

SETTING THE WHOLE "RELIGION" ASIDE-

BEING GAY GOES AGAINST THE VERY FABRIC OF LIFE. GAYS CAN NOT REPRODUCE AND PROCREATE, THEY CAN ONLY FORNICATE. HUMANS WERE MEANT TO REPRODUCE AND POPULATE AN GAYS CAN NOT DO THAT SO THERE FOR BEING GAY IS AN UNNATURAL ACT.

AGAIN, I DO NOT TRY TO FORCE MY BELIEFS ON PEOPLE, JUST SHARE. I DO NOT HATE GAYS, I JUST DONT AGREE WITH THE LIFESTYLE, JUST AS YOU MAY NO AGREE WITH MY LIFESTYLE ABOUT SPREADING THE WORD F THE LORD.
