They are tough motors if you take care of them... watch the water pump, when it goes get ready... it is a 6 to 8 hr job at the shop. You should go ahead and replace the timing chain and all that stuff while you are at it. They run real strong and are a blast to drive. Just try to find someone to work on them... hope you havedeep pockets.

depends on who used it... i have two around 92 under good maintanance still running stronger than most new engines... on the other hand if the person trashed it and never changed the oil, u could be stuck with a full rebuild (which i wouldnt recommend without experience)

if it isnt running right, check the carburetor... otherwise have fun with it...

Quad4 Engines are junk big problems with the heads on those cars and bigger $$$ to fix

no...they are known for getting moisture in the engine and i've worked on several they are not good engines to have avoid them if possible.
