you can't write onto an existing movie cd/dvd - it's not the correct kind of media.

if you're asking about making a copy of a copy protected cd/dvd, then that's a different question, (one with possibily an illegal answer)

the crude way is to play the cd through a vcr record it to tape then use your pc to record it on dvd. depending on whitch copy protection thay used this works on most movies. some copy protection is on the dvd itself. get it?

both work well together
