It means it is His right hand ring or His birthday ring. Also it may mean He has a girlfriend that He hasn't decided to ask to marry yet.

Could mean many things. He might just like to wear rings. He could also be trying to hide the fact that he might be married. He might actually have gone through a divorce or is in the process of one and doesn't want all the money for the ring to go to waste. Who knows?
Oh and the homosexual comments, my father is 'married' to another man and they both wear it on their left fingers, not every person in the world does things a certain way.

uhh I don't think so. I think they wear a ring on the right hand so that he can wear a ring without someone thinking he is married..

I take it you mean a weding band? Some cultures wear the band on the right hand while other cultures wear the band on the left hand because it is close to the heart.

Depends...it could mean nothing. However, a wedding band worn on the right hand traditionally signals that the person is widowed...well, in the case of a man, a widower.
