On a outside door I always use oil. It drys harder and flows out better if you know what you are doing. Latex stays soft.

Try sherwin williams SWP. Or go in and tell them it is for an outside door. THey will take care of you .

I never suggest an oil based paint...the paint does not take well to expansion and contraction. It may look slightley better when it is new, but it is a mess if and when it starts peeling. Use exterior grade latex...withstands expansion/contraction somewhat better.
