Is personal conviction more important than friendship when the two are in conflict?

Friends can agree to not disagree and keep their personal convictions to themselves especially when neither one is willing to change.

No, I would never want to lose a friend. I can love someone as a friend whether I agree with them or not... Just remember why you are friends in the first place.

A real friend would not put you in a position to need to make that choice.
