Im an american women in love with a Nigerian man, but I just dont get him. We are in love and make each other complete. Does anyone have a clue about Nigerian men?

I know How to say I love you in his language, its his ways I dont understand

That is great, first of all you aknowledge his heritage, some women don't bother. You might think just because you know how to say hello it isn't much but you've gone a long way.

Nigerian are very good people, i am thinking his Yoruba right ? Family means everything to Nigerians and you are part of his family and he acknowelges that he might not say it to your face, but i think he's proud of you.

What difference does it make that he is Nigerian if you are both in love with each other? buy a dictionary and surprise him by saying "I love you" in Nigerian, he will definintely appreciate it and maybe open up to you a little more

You did not say which ethnic group he was. Some ethnic groups are Visual People and some are Language people.


Remember also that they live in a society where the government does not help them like America and Europe and so their priorities are different. They concentrate on Money and Survival, who can help them and that is their main underlying priorities not necessarily giving descriptive social conversation about how a flower grows. Where as whether you are working or not in America or Europe you will still see food to eat and therefore you can talk about how flowers grow.

Real guys do cry, I've visible it. They won't cry at different humans's funerals but when it is loved ones-comparable and that loved ones member used to be anyone practically him, like his mom, then he could without doubt cry or cross into deep despair.
