Yup, good song for a wedding, and has been sung by a lot of people since Judy Garland of the Wizard of Oz. I think it would be a good wedding song because it's about going somewhere you've never been before - like marriage is.

Not for a wedding. I believe the song is about hope in a desperate situation. Remember, the Wizard of Oz was released during the Great Depression.

I think the best song to sing at a wedding is The Rose, originally by Bette Midler.

The song is a bit on the sad reflective side, it is associated with hope and dreams when you have very little to hope for. I am sure this is not your situation.
Barbara Streisand sings it well, and of course we have Judy Garland, who sang it throughout her career. Her vocalizations really highlight the melancholy. Kimberly Locke of American Idol fame has a version. And I recommend Chet Baker.

It's fine if that's what you want. As far as who sings it best, that would have to be Judy Garland hands down but getting her to sing it live at your wedding would be a trifle difficult.

I wouldn't, that song is too predictable. Try something unique or something that maybe you or someone close made up and have a professional or someone who can sing, sing it. I think that would have more meaning. Hope that helps!!!!
