Find another job and quit....they will just give you the run around and not pay you anymore

Does your employer have a Human Resource department? I would go to them and discuss this question. I'm not sure why you would've let your prior job to go to this job making less money.

On the question of taking your supervisor's job, why would you take a position and not get the title and more $? Again to HR. If no HR I would speak to the person in charge. Why perform a job that requires more work for no more money? I would be polite and ask for a description of your job position. Then decide from the answer that you receive if it's time to look for other employment.

Hi! I would simply go to your boss or management, and politely ask. This has happened to me before, and it turns out they had just overlooked it. Don't be intimidated. Politely go in and ask why this is. Then if they do not offer you a raise, politely ask for a raise. The worse they will say is no. Before my hub had the job he does now, he would go in and ask for a raise every six months. He would always ask for a higher amount than he wanted, and him and his boss would actually go back and forth until they came to an agreement. Within 6 months he was made management, because the boss liked that he was confident enough to ask for a raise...lolz. Good luck, and let me know what happens.

If you have an HR person go to them, explain your situation, and ask for a raise. If they refuse, start looking for another job. But try to give them 2 weeks notice in case you need them for a reference.

check with your wages board. there should be a standard wage for this position. Be careful though as workplace reform can get you sacked these days for no reason.
