Yes, usually you can't tell the sex of a baby until about 4or5months b/c that's around the time the baby starts moving. Sometimes though the baby is turned in a direction were you can't see what the sex is, but you can always have another sonogram.

yes it is way to early. u could get a false report. most babies have what looks like a girl but after a few months if it is a boy the testicles drop down and then u can tell its a boy but most doctors wont look until u are around 18-24 weeks. then it is more accurate but not all are exactly right there are mistakes made. Yes it most definitely is. The sex of the baby is not even determined until the 12th week of pregnancy and is not even visible by sonogram until 16weeks and up. So there is no way to tell just yet, be patient I know it's exciting.
