This is not really a question. Are uyou looking for geographic regions, demographic regions. or what?
The braod stroke is there are two 'regions' of Africa.
Saharan Africa which consists of all the countries that border the Mediterranean Sea and include the desert countries of Chad and Sudan. The people who live in this region are predomininantly of arabic ancestry.
Sub-Saharan Africa, is all the countries 'sub', or south, of the Sahara, The people here are composed of the original indigeonous Arfican peoples of which the Bantu tribes are among the most prevalent.
Sub-Saharan Africa can be further divided into East Africa (Ethiopia, Somalia, Kenya and Tanzania), West Africa (Nigeria, Senagal, Ghana, and a bunch of other little contries along the Atlantic Ocean), Southern Africa (South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Mozambique and Zambia) and Central Africa (everything else - the Congo, Rwanda, Uganda, Malawi, etc).

What is your question? Do you need someone to list the regions of all the countries, or are you asking a question concerning the naming of East Coast, West Coast, etc?
More elaboration please?
