Trying to understand the thought processes of the criminal Bush administration OR trying to understand how some far-right Neocons still support him (Bush)? Someone PLEASE fill me in, I don't undestand.

The Bush administration is easy to understand. They are doing exactly what they set out to do--line their own pockets and make life good for them. When it was first announced that George Jr. was running, I told everyone: "If he is elected, within 2 years we will be in a war with Iraq, we will have a deficit again and unemployment will soar". No great prophecy there, anyone with common sense knew it was bound to happen.
The supporters are way beyond my comprehension. It is all there in black and white, what this man has done to this country. It seems that even when he hurts some of them personally they still stand firm behind him. As an example, my father is a disabled American veteran, Bush cut medical for the veterans, Dad now has to pay a portion of what he once got for free. Dad is also a conservative republican who feels this is somehow Clinton's fault.
I think that Bush and his propaganda posse manages to keep all his supporters rallying for him by bringing up issues that take their minds off of the more important issues. They bring up emotional issues like abortion and gay marriage, which they will never be able to do anything about anyhow, because some people just can't comprehend that war casualties are full term abortions. And so many people out there still believe that it was Hussein that was behind 9-11 rather than Bin Laden. They prey on the minds of the emotional, the weak, the profiteers, those who honestly believe that he is a man of God rather than the cold, calculating and yet somehow mentally challenged "leader" that he is. They will always find excuses for him, all the death and destruction he has caused because that Godless Bill Clinton got a BJ.

Good Evening, Perfessor!
I support him in many, but not all ways. This immigration thing is ticking me off quite a bit. The majority of his staunch supporters feel the same way I do. As far as his other policies - he really hasn't wavered on them at all, such as the war on terror, or Iraq. A lot of people are getting caught up in the media hype of it all. I'm enough of a realist to see that he hasn't done everything perfect, and I am not foolish enough to believe that every ill that befalls us is his fault.

HEY! Liberals go away! I'm from New York - give it a break! We all ain't lefties!!

Lorrie is right. I would like to know what you would have done and would be doing now if you were the president. Bet you couldn't have done a better job. I think it is really un-American to bash our president. It puts you in a very low category as far as I'm concerned. He is our president and I am really getting sick of you people trashing him. I don't really care how you feel about him personally, but to publicly bash his presidential status is just wrong. You should take a little more pride in your citizenship and get involved locally as well as contact your congressmen on the state and federal level if you don't like what is going on. It will be much more productive AND YOU WON'T LOOK LIKE SUCH AN IDIOT.

It's people like you, a far left bomb thrower who's no doubt from CA or NY, that supports my republican thinking. I support Bush because he takes a stance on terrorism, and has values...unlike the majority in your state. Just out of curiosity, what makes it the "criminal" administration?

What is more perplexing to me is why everyone seems to have jumped onto the bash Bush bandwagon.
Yes, he makes mistakes, who doesn't?
I would MUCH rather have him in the White House than the womanizer we had before.

I guess because you are a democrat Bush is a criminal? Or because you disagree with something, a different view is criminal? I think he should be admired. Alot of POLITICIANS are criminals, both partis.

Neocon supporters...

Bush seems to be focused on money...

his supporters only seem to be focused on praising every mistake he makes... even if those mistakes are screwing them...

That's seems to the case to me...
