Okay that is a loaded question.
1) Many schools have after school daycare programs for around $10/day or $4/hour -- GREAT DEAL DO IT -- the ratios are great and the abused kid issue is not likely
2) Home care will be around $5-$10/hour - not worth is as they crank in as many kids as possible. Rules are LAX and you see kids abused and die and ignored as the people sit in front of the TV and watch.
3) Home care of any quality $10-$20/hour still risky
4) Get family members of change you hours -- this is ALWAYS the best choice - prefer YOU watch your kids youself or your spouse/childs father
