What format is the music on my iPod? xbox 360 owners view as well please?

Question

I know the music you purchase from iTunes is in ACC format, but what format is it converted to when you put it on your iPod? My xbox 360 can accept ACC formatted songs, but when I plug in my Ipod, my 360 does not recognize them, only the songs that are from a CD i own. Any help here?

formats: mp3, wav, apple lossless, and that's it.
