Don't worry. Some confusion about sexual feelings is normal, particularly in the early teen years when one is going through all the changes of puberty. A survey of 34,000 students in Minnesota found that 25% of students age 12 said they were "not sure" about their sexual orientation. By age 17, only 5% of the students were still "unsure". Almost all of the rest of those who had been unsure at age 12, now felt they were heterosexual.
Let's face it. Puberty can be a confusing time. Your body is changing and your hormones are changing. It is normal to have questions like "How does what's happening with my body compare with what's happening with the other guys?" "Is this happening too fast or too slow?" "I have all these new and strange feelings...."
It makes sense that you might feel confused as your body begins to develop sexually. It's a big change to go from thinking the girls are weird to being attracted to them! As well, it is normal to be easily aroused in your teen years. Whether you're in class, in a theatre or in the locker room, a sexual situation or not, you could get an erection. While certain situations are more embarrassing than others (as if that needed saying), they don't mean anything. You just have to get used to it.
So, if you are a younger teen, don't worry about it. Do not rush to label your feelings. Take some time. Remember, a little confusion about sexual feelings is normal. Things will become clearer as you get older. If there are specific concerns you have, some of the other questions and answers listed here might be helpful.
Good luck in finding your right path.

The person who said you can take hormones to become "ungay" is a complete idiot. If anything, taking hormones will have a largely negative effect. Your body usually makes the amount of hormones necessary, and unless you have a hormone deficiency, taking too many hormones can cause liver damage and other effects. And don't say anything about birth control because studies have shown that women who are on birth control for extended periods of time experience many negative effects. ecoming Christian won't do a damn thing, so don't try to promote your religion here. Sexuality is largely influenced by genetics and environment, joining a church won't do a damn thing to change it.
If you have feelings, particularly strong sexual urges for members of the same sex, then you may well be gay. There's nothing wrong with it, its just something you learn to accept. Go to some GLBT websites, talk to some homosexuals, and get more comfortable with the idea. When you better understand homosexuality, you are better able to decide whether you are homosexual or not.

My daughter is 15 and she says she is bi. Though I consider her to young to be anything. We don't say anything to my husband who is totally against it but as her mother I accept her for her. She has a girlfriend right now and she is a very wonderful person and if my daughter is gonna be gay I am glad that she has got a good person. You know you could be confused because some people have feelings for people of the same sex just because. Don't worry about it, you are whatever you are and you can't change the way you feel or the way you think. Please don't be scared because it will all work out for the best.

What is the question?
You are a bit young and inexperienced, but if you're attracted to the opposite sex than you more than likely are gay/bi. My lifelong friend from middle school didn't come out of the closet until we were sophomores in college. He was attracted to other girls, but not sexually.. if that makes sense. I think it was good timing for him too. We're often too young when we get into serious relationships and that saved him a ton of trouble while we were in high school. If you find someone you like, tell them and don't be ashamed if that's what your feeling.

What will happen in your life is that it will change and all human beings are afraid of this. However, your life will be much worse if you live in denial of who you really are. Its hard to come out but more difficult to deny your true self.
There are many support groups and internet help groups out there. Why not talk to someone about it?
Many people have fought and suffered to make a homosexual lifestyle a socially acceptable one - and it is! Good luck!

There is no problem with being gay! Only you can answer that question though. Just go where life leads you. Many people don't like gays but, neverlisten to them, only the nice and the people who care! Hope this helps!!!!!

Dont worry about it!! Are you a worrier like me? I used to worry constantly about that, but eventually I made it through the fog, and realized what I felt toward over girls wasnt attraction, it was respect or awe. Now I can tell the difference between a sexual attraction (which I only have towards guys) and a friendship attraction.
Good luck, and try not to worry, what happens, happens!

well heres one thing: u could become a christian and choose not to be gay, while suppressing the feelings for the same sex. or u could go to the doctor for chemical/hormone pills if ur a guy, they'll give u testosterone. if ur a chic, they'll give u estrogen
good luck and god bless
