hitting for the cycle is extreamly rare, MAYBE 1 guy a year[ probably less] on average.
inside the park hr... probably 4-5 a year now a days... and a lot more years ago when the parks were bigger[ you know yankee stadium went back 461 ft with the flag pole and monuments ON the playing field]

Well, they're both pretty rare. However, I'd say that an inside-the-park home run is more common. All it takes is for an outfielder to take a bad angle or the ball the carom weird off the wall. Whereas, to hit for the cycle means you have to get at least 4 hits in a game which is pretty rare in itself.

An inside the park home run is definitely more common. Hitting for the cycle is quite rare, with the triple actually being the toughest of the four hits for most players to get. Thanks.
