I loved Dark Shadows, one of the coolest daytime TV shows of the 60's...I would get home from school just as it was time for the show to be aired...I think Dark Shadows really was innovative, a horror show as a soap opera was a first..It seems that networks don't do many innovative things with daytime TV anymore, I think they assume we all like the soaps of today, some of them are so lame(with the exception of General Hospital)....I

Yeah with Angelique, Barnabus, Victoria Winters and some other cool people! I was born in 1980 so I believe the show was off air by that time. I got hooked on the reruns shown on the Sci-Fi network. A spooky soap-opera!! What could be better than that!

I remember it. The second time around. It was my mothers' fav show. It came back on in repeats when I was a young teenager. I got into it as well.

I must say that an innovative soap opera is Passions. Have you watched that soap? It is silly but entertaining.

I watched General Hospital when I was in the 3rd grade. I remember I used to rush home from school to see what happened with Luke and Laura. I haven't watched that soap in years. Any soap for that matter. I work 3rd shift so I miss alot of TV.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

I was in grade school or jr high at the time and loved that show.
Kate Jackson from Charlies Angels was in Dark Shadows for a
time. I loved her role and also Jonathan Frids part.
We could watch reruns on the sci fi channel on cable, @ 1999
because I was recovering from surgery and found it on that
channel. Then I went back to work and never got a chance to see it again.
I would like to see the entire series again but at night.

Oh yeah - it came out the same year that Sesame Street started.

It was spooky - and totally lame. I was a kid - we were really spooked by the weirdness - at the same time we were totally tickled by the goofiness.

Soaps are still around - but I have a full time job that pays about 75% of what I made ten years ago - I can't watch TV anymore. I'm a slave to Walmart - no freetime for that quality of lifestyle - being spooked out of my mind....

Damn, I miss Nixon - what a president....

possibly shadows seek advice from twilight, a 2d once you will have shiny easy exhibiting up like at sunrise, or darkness descending, like at dusk. None is physically powerful or undesirable, that is purely twilight, a mystical 2d, between the worlds. you need to use the e book of Shadows, additionally widely used as Grimoires, of previous witches, in spite of the undeniable fact that that is great to jot down your very own and you have have been given a great concept calling it e book of light :-) some may even evaluate e book of lighting fixtures, with an s, too, yet choose for it! each and all the suited on your very own magical path.

I remember it well! I was a kid and it all seemed so scary.. ran across it a year or so back in re-runs... was still good, but not nearly as frightening! Barnabus Collins was a blast, and the house was only too cool!
