oh man, that's a really difficult question because every country has countless folk tales and they tend to travel, so you often can't tell where a folk tale originated.

Might be Denmark. Hans Christian Anderson turned out quite a few fairy tales.

I don't think one country has produced significantly much more stories than other because many don't get passed down. I would say China though they have a ton.

I beleive the questionwas country. but anyway being an Indian i have read countless stories and my dad says that what i have read is probably 10 %. so i would say india.
