Is their any free softwares? What proggram do you have to have?

You need xilisoft dvd ripper to convert vobs to mp4. The size must be exact or else it won't work on your ipod.

As far as free software, I don't believe there is any. However, there are many DVD-Rip softwares that you can purchase. BUT, make sure these convert the DVD to either .mp4 or .mov format. .avi or .wmv will not work in iTunes!

as far as i know, there's a new thing called i-load..it's bigger than ussual ipod, you can play dvd, vcd and everything...theyre on stores now.
