Ok im 17 years old and im pregnat,I want to get a abortion because i dont want to bring a child in this world that im not ready for,or to give up for adoption.So any way my insurance will cover for my abortiohn but only if I have a medical excuse from a doctor with a statement about why I cant have a baby.And my doctor is really nice and he will make one for me but my question is what medical excuse can I use?

I think it's crazy how people are telling her to not have sex...
She had it..she is now pregnant...
and making the CHOICE to abort her baby...
I think it is kind of responsible and that it is HER choice..she didn't come here and ask us to judge her..it sounds like she has made her decision..if she has the baby and is unable to take care of it..you are the same people that will be downing her for not being a good mother...and adoption isn't someting she thinks she can do..
So give her a break..she is asking for advice not a sermon on why she shouldn't get an abortion..if you are against it..then move on and go answer questions about that..I would personally never get an abortion, but I think that is an individual decision that people have to make..they are, however, the ones that have to take care of the baby
anyway..i think the excuse of mental instability or any of the others that people used are pretty good excuses..good luck

Stop giving this girl more mental grief about her decision. It's a personal choice. We all have our opinions on abortion and she didn't ask you what your opinion was. How do you know how she will feel afterwards? You don't. She's not any less of a person for making a decision to abort her baby. Any decision, whether to keep and raise, keep and adopt out or abort a baby is not something that is come by easy. Judge lest ye be judged.
Sweetie, talk to your doctor. Your doctor will know the best way to approach this subject so your insurance will cover the cost. It won't be fraudulent in any way either because your doctor wouldn't want to jeopardize their career. Best of luck to you!

i dont think u should have an abortion. why punish ur child when it didnt chose this circumstance. I think ur insurance agency should be tried for murder cause that is what abortion is it is murder. ur baby is a baby not tissue or just an egg its a living being by the time u find out ur pregnant. the heart beats at 20 days. 17 years old is too young to make and be responsible for a new life, but you did make a new life. Please don't make a bigger mistake and end the life you made. You never again will have the opportunity to have a 1st. child. Yes, it may be better for the child and you that you not raise it at your age, but please, give it, (Him or Her) the chance for a good life. It is a life. It belongs to God.

Talk to your doc i am sure he's proably experienced at this situation. Where is the father of the baby.?He went half on a baby, ask him to go half on an abortion.
