There are explosions in and on the surface of the sun, but as for volcanoes like here on earth no there are none. Since the surface of the sun is molten (which means not solid) there are no mountains on the sun.

Who needs volcanoes when you have prominences and solar flares? Volcanoes do exist in other places besides just earth, such as on Venus or on Jupiter's moon Io (and let's not forget the icy nitrogen jets on Neptune's moon Triton), but the sun doesn't really have any volcanoes to speak of. By definition, volcanoes emit hot melted rock, something which cannot be found on a ball of gas such as the sun.

no.
A vulcano implies a surface where some molten substance can burst out of. A zit so to speak. But there is no skin. Lets face it if we push that analogy a bit.... I never wanna meet a person looking like the sun.
If you mean are there eruptions on the suface? Oh yeah, all the time. Big enough to swallow the earth.... As I was saying I never want to meet anyone looking like the sun.

No, the sun doesn't really have a surface because it is just a giant ball of gas. What happens is that the more high pressured gas from the center sometimes explodes out of the center.

Basically that's all there is: all the gas explosions don't just happen in the atmosphere....the sun is a "hot" planet, meaning that it is constantly erupting and the gas produced by this is basically what we see as sun rays
