One kiss became a weapon.
I don't want to bleed in vain.
Clouds collide,in the heavens.
I surrender to the rain
The death bells that also rang.
Like madness from above
Im going out with a bang.
And a heart disease called love
Ninety-nine,below zero,
would seem like fever now.
you know me. no hero
Don't even ask me how.
I'm down in the deep, deep, freeze.
What was i thinking of
in the painful breeze
by the frozen trees.
With a heart disease called love.
After dinner,mints.A new lover,
and the coffee's so bitter and black
Your fingerprints...they cover,
this knife sticking out my back.
You overlooked ...the fine details.
You should've worn your gloves
I've got a girl in jail a house for sale.
And a heart disease called love.

I know it. It stings years later. I get it.

By the way, this is bloody fantastic. I'm a writer, editor, and teacher and I know good poetry. If you'd like, post this on craigslist.org in the writers forum for more feedback, but I love it. Keep up your writing. Often pain is the best fuel.

umm i can't say I know the exact feeling, but yeah love does make us vulnerable, so anyone who truly knows how to love knows what you're talking about. You just gotta remember that the reason love is so beautiful is that it involves making oneself vulnerable...watch who you trust.

As a poem it is disjointed... with such a mix of metre that it is difficult to read as such.......however, there IS the basis of a good poem there.

Get it right and I MIGHT 'know this feeling'............
