In terms of who was stronger in the force, I think it was Yoda. In terms of who was a better character, Vader all the way. I've never understood why people loved Yoda - and I was a True Fan.

Both are great characters and essential to the SW stories. I think yoda is stronger with the force, not saying that vader wasnt, we could all see that he was powerful. If i had to choose between the two....i would go with vader. It is easy for anyone to succumb to the dark side of the force, but to give in and then have the strength to return to the light, that is a strenght/power most do not have...or choose to use.

Vader. Yoda was beaten by the emperor, Vader killed the emperor.
Plus the huge bad mf in black is always cooler than the goofy little know it all.

Yoda... wisdom of a million men gathered over a million years.... instead of Vader who has strength in darkness, but many unknown weaknesses which seem a little obvious- to me anyway. And anyone can have strength, but few can have wisdom.
