How happy are you with your spouse? Where 1 means you want to leave them and 10 means youre very happy and never think about leaving them. Please explain why you rated them that way. How long have you been married? thanks (just doing an informal survey based on a conversation I had today)

My marriage is a 10. Saturday will be our 11 year anniversary and we are BOTH happier now than we were on our wedding day! We have always made an effort for eachother in what ever it is were doing. We also talk to each other honesly and openly about anything that may be on our minds. She is my best friend as I am her's! If you can talk to each other and always make an effort for each other, your marriage will always be a 10 !!!
Good question

Right now? Probably an 8 or 9. Stress levels are high at the moment and life is "getting in the way" of it being a 10. We've been married 10 years. We are really happy - to the point where friends gag themselves. Our best friends/next door neighbors are getting a divorce and it's only brought us closer....made us realize so many things.

P.S. I told my 8 year old daughter about our friends/neighbors divorce because she's going to hear bits and pieces of our conversation. We told her that she will never have to worry about that with us because we have a firm commitment not only to each other but to the vows of marriage. She looked at us...waited a second and said "THANK YOU".

Me and my husband.... I'm gonna rate our marriage perfect 10. Marrying him is the best decision I have ever made in my life. He is very loving, caring, responsible, faithful, God-fearing, sweet, romantic,,,, and a lot more good qualities. I could say that he's the man in every girl's dream. We've been together for years and within that period, we haven't had a fight yet since the day we met. My husband and I came from different race and country with different culture and tradition but we were able to manage well that differences.

We have had major problems in the past but have bounced back over the past 3 years and are as happy now as when we first married so i give us a solid 9 but only cause nobody is perfect.

I would rate mine a -1. Let me see. I rushed into this marriage out of a sense of responsibility. We never got along even when we dated. Oh yeah, she cheated on me too. In September, it will be three years.
