If you want just the audio, then there is a program I found not to long ago. http://www.dvd-mp3.org/ , it's from Jodix and it's free. It works too, I've tried it myself.

However, most movies are 90+ minutes long. A CD can only hold 80 minutes of audio... The only way you could listen to the audio that you just converted is to burn the disc as a MP3 disc, not the basic audio CD. Hope this helps!

yea just copy and paste on your harddisk, then burn to a cd.
