I worked at both Wendy's and Arby's for a few years, and I never saw/heard of other employees spitting in food. I have heard of that happening at other restaurants.
I'm currently reading "Fast Food Nation," which mentions workers doing disgusting things to food, but that is the least of my worries after reading the rest of the book.

You never know what is really going on in the kitchen, mostly it is really not in the kitchen but where these frozen foods came from, Fast food workers are not to be blamed most of the time, there may be person who spit on foods not even working on fast food chains, so just be nice to them so you won't get one, ever drink glass of water with a lipstick mark on the glass? so where it came from?

Yes, all the time. I Once saw a women with v. long fake nails scratching cheese of a burger cuz a customer didn't want cheese in it (McDonalds). Also, I used to work at the Olive Garden and I saw the cook's sweat dripping all over the food, it happnd all the time. Everytime you go to a restaurant, you probably are eating other ppl's sweat too. Nice

I was.
I worked at Hardee's and I found that as long as you aren't a complete jerk, you'll be okay.
I never understand people that are completely rude to waiters and fast food cashiers - they are the ones who give the orders to put a boogie in your burger

I avoid fast food mostly but i just try to be super nice when I do have to eat there. Some people will react to how they believe you are acting towards them...

Nope. You wouldn't even taste it anyway. And besides, that's what stomach acids are for.
