a whole lot of nothing!! Even if you have insurance, most companies won't replace it for water damage. And they know. They also won't fix a phone if it appears to have water damage because it could cause sparking and shocking and even be a fire hazard! The best bet would be hope that you can upgrade soon, then you can get a brand new phone for cheap! Or, see if your provider sells used phones! Mine does and I just got a used phone that looks brand new for only $25!!

Sure, however that you may assess it out your self first. Pop open the back of your mobile the place your battery is. Take out your battery. Somewhere around there should be a one small glossy circle (most commonly on the very top or backside of the phone) if that circle is white then there is no water harm, but whether it is purple then there may be water damage thus alowwing your phone company to understand. Just right luck. Rather of shopping a new telephone probably one of your neighbors with the same phoen provider has an historical cellphone you can use.

Take your phone back tp the place where you got it from. Depending on the plan that you got, they may be able to replace it for $100 or less. If you didn't have insurance on it then you are very much out of luck. In the future please be mor careful with your phone.P.S. don't forget to take a piece of paper with you. You might be able to save some of the important numbers in the phonebook of your phone.

I've washed three cell phones, and each time there was nothing that could be done except replace them. When you take it to the store and say it is broken, they open it up and can tell it has water damage. Couldn't even trick them into thinking it was their fault. :(

I've known people that dropped their cell phones in water. It seems that they all just eventually had to replace it as the water damages the circuits.

Mine fell in a sink and all I did was let it dry out for a couple of days and it worked; a friend's fell in the toilet and she put it under a hand dryer for awhile and it worked.

Yeah - Take out the battery and use a blow dryer to dry it out. Use the hot setting but don't hold it too close. I have done this twice and it works. (yeah, I'm a clutz)
