There are a multitude of stereotypes. That they are poor and lazy (but if they are, then why do we complain that they take our jobs?), they party too much and are drinkers. They are accused of being ignorant because they don't want to learn English (I have found that many want to, but they work far too much to have much time to work).

uhh...large families, lazy, not very bright...I disagree though they are some of the smartest hard working people I know of (as a whole in my area)
