Well, not sure I still have any of their product - I think they did a single called 'Barbarella's' which I owned for a long time. They weren't from Sheffield, but from Evesham in Worcestershire, and therefore appeared mostly around the Birmingham circuit. They were originally called 'Satan's Rats' and were an out and out punk band, then they recruited female vocalist Wendy Wu, made one album with legendary producer Tony Visconti and that, to be honest, was that. I think the track you refer to was actually called 'Irene' and it was their biggest hit - storming its way to no 56 in the UK singles chart (but then, it was really really hard to chart in those days as punk led to the handing out of a LOT of record contracts). The LP came with a free EP, abnd actually charted much higher than the single as, if I remember rightly, there was a mail-in offer to purchasers of the album which gave them a free camera.
Drop me a line on eriverpipe@yahoo.co.uk and I'll keep and eye out round the second hand record shops and charity shops for any of their stuff and will look through my singles collection and see if I still own Barbarellas....
