I'm married and this single guy goes out of his way (I think) to see or talk to me. How can you tell when someone is interested....I am just wondering (I am not interested in him at all - I'm just curious) I work with a couple of his friends and he comes by sometimes when they are not there. He also called me the other day and asked for one of his friends when he knew good and well they were'nt there and he started a conversation with me. Should I tell him to bug off or is he just being nice?

Hi again, I wanted to add a few details. My husband knows about this guy and doesn't like it but I woun't let him do anything because in the back of my mind I think it COULD be innocent but my hubby thinks otherwise.

It wouldn't be inappropriate for you to reassure you that you are his friend and politely letting him know that you're happily married.

This a good one it could be looked at many ways. Don't give him the impression or flirts with him in aways and let him know that your just friends and your happily married to a guy that you never going leave. If in don't take the pictured tell him to bug off or even better let your man deal with it. Then he will get the picture better fast.

He's tryin' to do ya, honey... (You sure you aren't interested?) I'm in a kind of the same bind and I AM sorta interested (and I feel like a real piece of trash!) I'm 53/F and married to a semi impotent man (who had a cancer op.. I remarried him cause I 'felt sorry for him' a year ago.. stupid of me.) ANYhow, I'm Catholic and we're not supposed to do **** like have affairs, right? Well, this fat-assed, bald 'Romeo' EMT across my town started to IM me.. (I laff'd. my *** off when I saw a picture of this jerk.) He out and out TOLD me he once had an affair for l2 years (I believe him) w/a nurse who was his 'total sexual slave!' (The wife's an RN too.. I'd have dumped his silly ***.) I did dump him but now.. well, I am just lonely I guess.. It sux, too! (more than you know..) Yeah, the guy's hittin' on ya.. to answer your question. What's up w/the husband then? (I question the fact you are uninterested based upon the fact you did not mention telling the husband..) I think that's kind of 'telling..' is all.. (You are human.. maybe you are flattered? I am.. ****, I'm 53 and gettin' wrinkly fast.. lol) Anyhow, perhaps you just didn't mention it in here about telling your husband, I don't know. I think it's nice and proper and all of you to want to tell him to 'bug off..' (Don't be surprised if he pulls this "what?!? ME? shocked **** of an act.." and that's all it is, honey, an ACT !) Don't fall for that ****.. He will want to make YOU feel guilty and make it all YOUR fault! (Handwriting's on the wall..) later- Melancholia.. (be strong.)

Oh, he is hitting on your big time.
I know what he wants but I cannot say as there are so many kids around here.
Yes, you should tell him not to add you to the cheater list which BTW is in highly popular community (too bad but true).

Unless you are wanting to have an affair , you need to tell him to "bug off". He keeps coming around in hopes that at some point in the future , you and he can have an affair. You might not have that in mind......but he DOES!

People seem to want something they can't have, so he probably does. A little danger is good for some souls.

Tell him calmly and firmly, " I appreciate your friendship, too bad I'm not married because under no circumstance would I cheat".
A compliment with a limit established all in one line.

maybe the fact that someone finds you attractive actually excites you inside...and the thought of an affair, whether you do or not, is a turn on...the thrill of the chase...just remember, 95% of people who cheat on thier spouse do not end up with the person they cheated with...

put your husband in one of your conversations that scares them off sometimes and if he insists then tell him you are married and plan on staying that way...
