he is. the word is that when ramirez first came up he couldnt really speak english and refused to give interviews with reporters and writers. these reporters and writers created an image of him where no one likes him. you would be amazed at how much control the baseball writers have in creating a player's image and reputation. basically, all the players like him but the reporters refuse to show his popularity.
