I read a few books that are easy to follow and actually made a lot of sense. I also read some that books written by finacial wiz but made zero sense and not as applicable to regular folks. The two below are easy to understand and great starter books for those interested in financial management.

Automatic Millionaire by David Bach
The Money Book for the Young, Fabulous & Broke by Suze Orman

GETTING LOADED by Peter Bielagus is one of my favorite finance books. It is a very easy read, teaches you the basics, and uses a little humor (so the book doesn't drag along like most finance books tend to do).

MILLIONAIRE NEXT DOOR like someone else said is a good one too.

"The Millionaire Next Door" by Stanley and Danko. Very down-to-earth advice on building wealth, especially if you are a person living on a middle-class salary (or even less)
