Slow down slim.
They think the same about us.
They are like rats they are more scared of us then we are of them.
They get angry because they think "I'm liberal, I'm enlightened! why can't those brutish conservatives realize...."
they thik that being liberal makes them smart when in reality it is being smart that makes you conservative.

I am a conservative, first off. I haven't seen any hate because of it. What makes you think they hate you? The way I see it, this could go either way. Liberals think conservatives hate them, and conservatives think liberals hate them. I don't think any of this is motivated by hate. I think people on both sides and in between are just fighting for what they believe in. Some are pro-life, others pro-choice. Some are for gay marriage/civil unions, others are against. It isn't about hate, it is about different views on the same subjects. Have you ever disagreed with someone? Disagreements happen between the closest of people, why should society be any different? That is part of what makes America a great place. We have the freedom to voice and express those differing viewpoints. Before you start attacking people, how about you do some research and try to see their side of the matter, huh?

Liberals find people who are opposed to the government controlling every part of your life a threat. It doesn't matter what you say, liberals wany only one thing, for the government to be your mommy, daddy, best friend, provider of every need you have from the time you're born until you die.

Look at their agenda:

Gun Control....no guns for you irresponsible citizens. It hasn't worked in the UK, Canada, Australia or ANYWHERE ELSE !

Abortion.....OK to kill a baby human, but not a spotted owl

Universal Health Care.......You cannot choose your own doctor or carry your own health insurance. We will tell you who you can see, what you can have done and when. Another dismal failure wherever it's been tried.

I won't even mention their use of race, sexual preference and class envy as a means to divide and polarize large groups of people against one another. They also claim to be the party who looks out for the African-Ameiccan population. What have you gotten folks, a lot of lip service.

Folks need to wake up and see that their agenda is to make America the next Socialist nation in the world. Why can't we learn from the rest of the world?

No, but there is allot of hate filled chatter, like the individual that claims that we want to take away the rights of gays to marry. Do you guys understand the process? The President can't just amend the constitution, if that bill passed it would have to be ratified and voted on in every state (giving you a chance to vote for or against it). This wasn't a Bush bill it was sponsored by a member of congress and voted on. Think about it this way, would you have rather had the chance to vote on that ammendment or have the courts decide this one for you as if you aren't mature enough to make up your own mind? To further answer the question, no, I don't think liberals hate because of different views, but I don't think they examine those opposing views for themselves either. It's time to really educate yourselves, get a copy of the bill, read it, not someone Else's interpretation of it. Look at the voting records of members of congress, you may be surprised how yours votes on some issues.

People, don't get mad at what I'm about to say. Let's have an intelligent conversation and disagree without being animals. I am only speculating.

I don't really think they hate people because their views are different, they're just passionately trying to prove why they think their way is better. I have noticed more conservative and republican bashing bumper stickers than I have anti-democrat/liberal, though. Generally most of the strong Christians I know are conservatives, and the backsliding and less zealous Christians are liberal. (You know, the people who say they are Christian but don't act like it, or don't try to act like it.) Maybe it's because the strong Christian conservatives have been rooted in God and the Bible and are less influenced by peer pressure and popularity? I don't know. I just know that I'm against abortion, I support the sanctity of marriage, and that God should remain in the government. Those are my main issues.

Interesting question. To my mind a true liberal embraces a live and let live attitude without dispensing with his native wisdom/common sense. Too, there is a difference between having an open mind and a cracked head. You must have principles. Not impossible standards by which to hold people to. From these must your liberality proceed. Liberal is akin to freedom. Freedom is the ability to do the thing you know to be right.

Do conservatives hate people just because they have different views? And also for being different (religion, colour, sexuality)? Didn't mommy teach them any manner's?

I guess so. Liberals seem to be off the mark on most on most of their views. I know a few conservatives that are that way as well.

Mine taught me punctuation instead.

You're right, though. I really hate those right-wing looney toons. I can't help it, there's just so much to dislike.

I don't mind the leggy blonde fascists quite so much. They seem more in touch.

P.S. "manner's"? Really? That's the best you've got?
